Skill Levels Required for Woodworking Plans and Woodcraft Projects

BASIC — Requires basic woodworking skills and tools.

simple tools such as drills, jigsaws, circular saws, scroll saws, handsaws, etc.
simple joinery such as butt joints, lap joints, etc.
simple woodworking techniques such as sawing, drilling (including countersinking), sanding, etc.

BASIC PLUS — Requires the same *basic* woodworking skills and tools, but has numerous pieces to assemble.

INTERMEDIATE — Requires more skills and/or more tools to complete.

intermediate tools such as routers, etc.

intermediate joinery such as dados, rabbets, etc.

intermediate woodworking techniques.

INTERMEDIATE PLUS — Requires the same skills and tools as *intermediate* but has numerous pieces to assemble.
