Online Order Process: 3 easy steps
Step 1: Shopping:
the Shopping Cart page Step 2: Checking Out: the Order page Step 3: Paying for Your Order: Paypal pages You're Done! We do the rest!
|
|
Step 1: Shopping: the Shopping
Cart page
|
|
The shopping cart is just like using a shopping cart in a real world store.
Putting an item into your cart does *not* mean you have decided to
purchase the item. You
can put things into the cart, put them back on the *shelf*, even leave the cart
behind, if you change your mind.
The shopping cart page will ask you if you want to
continue shopping; if you do, you will be sent back to our site.
You can go back and forth between your
shopping cart and our site
as much as you like, putting items in, taking them out again.
Clicking on an "Add to Cart" or
"Buy Now" link will place a specific pattern in your shopping cart.
Adding items will take you to your shopping cart page where you
can see what is in your cart so far, and remove items if you want.
Click any "View Cart" link to go
to your shopping cart at any time, without adding any items. (A
"View Cart" link appears at the top of every page.)
You won't need to give any
personal information during this step. You're still just shopping, and
you haven't yet decided to head to the cashier to ring up your order.
Your cart will NOT show Shipping & Handling or any
Taxes in the total. These will be added in Step 2, when you go to the check
out, just like in a real world store.
But, unlike a real world store, the pricing information on every product
page tells you what those costs will be so there will be no surprises!
The address you will see in your browser address bar when you are on
the shopping cart page is
1automationwiz.com. This particular page is not on a secure server
because you won't need to provide any personally identifiable
information.
If you want to learn more about our shopping cart, you can do that by visiting
1automationwiz.com.
When you are ready to check out, click the
"Check Out"
link at the bottom of the Shopping Cart page.
|
|
Step 2: Checking out: the Order page
|
|
Step 2 is just
like going to the cashier to ring your order into the register at the front of a real world
store.
When you click on the "Check
Out" link on the shopping cart page, you will be taken to a secure
order page hosted on secure servers at mcssl.com. (This is the name you will
see in your browser bar. Although the name is different, this is also provided by 1AutomationWiz, just
like the cart page.)
(On this page, your browser address bar must read "https://" and NOT
"http://". The
extra 's' indicates that you are visiting a secure site.)
You will be
asked for personal information such as your name and address, only information
that is required to process and ship your order.
NO credit card
information or payment information will be requested from you on this
page, because right now the cashier is simply ringing in your order.
Check your order and make sure that it is correct. Make any changes
you would like to your order.
Shipping & Handling and any taxes are added here, so you know
exactly what the final total is *before* you place your order.
Just like a real world store, a purchase isn't complete until you provide
payment (the next step). If you choose to "cancel" the order on this
order page, you will be directed
back to our site, where you can start all over again if that's what you
want.
When you are ready to place your order, just click
the "Place Order Now" link at the bottom of the Order page.
You will be transferred straight to PayPal, Faux Grain's on-line payment
gateway.
|
|
Step 3: Paying for your order: PayPal pages
|
|
Step 3 is just
like the moment real-world cashier has completed ringing your order into the register
and requests payment.
Just follow
PayPal's simple instructions to pay for your order.
| Purchase
securely with any major credit card through PayPal! |
 |
 |
IMPORTANT: PayPal is also a secure
site. Again, your browser address bar
MUST read
"https://www.paypal.com/..." and NOT "http://"
and NOT any other name than "www.paypal.com" .
(PayPal always reminds its account holders to take the security
precaution of checking their browser address bar. It's a good idea.)
PayPal processes transactions through your own credit card of
choice. Payments made through PayPal will appear on your credit card
statement as "PayPal* FAUX GRAIN" and will be in US dollars.
You will be providing PayPal with your credit card or banking
information to complete the transaction. PayPal does *not* send this
information to Faux Grain. PayPal tells Faux Grain that you have paid
for the order, but does not provide Faux Grain with your financial
particulars.
If you have not used PayPal for online payments before, you will be
asked to complete a signup page for them. You only need to do this once
to set up an account with PayPal. After that, you can use that account
with any merchant or individual in the world who accepts PayPal payments.
If you aren't already a PayPal member, and
want to learn more, their site is chock full of information. You can also find
out why we chose PayPal to process your credit card payments.
If you have purchased online before through PayPal, just
follow PayPal's directions to pay us through your existing PayPal account.
Simply complete Step 3 of the payment process at PayPal, following
their directions.
When you are done,
you will be returned to our site.

|
|
|
You will receive e-mail confirmation of your order.
When Faux Grain receives notification of your successful order and
payment, we will begin
packaging and sending your order out to you. All orders are sent out by regular
first class postal mail.
If you have any problems, let us know. You can contact Faux Grain
directly by email with any questions or problems concerning your order
at this email address.
If you just want to contact us about something that isn't related to
your order, email Faux Grain at this address instead.
