license to
copy or reproduce the pattern as required for the purpose of making the
project or any variation of it. You are licensed to give away or sell
the projects you make from Faux Grain patterns and designs, but not
for *mass-production* as explained below. This applies whether the project is
being used for personal benefit, profit, or education.
Licenses may not be given away or
transferred, except where the original purchaser simultaneously
relinquishes the license, such as occurs in the case of giving a
plan as a gift.
Reproducing the pattern materials themselves
(or any part)
to profit directly from re-selling the pattern, or to promote any item is forbidden.
Patterns and plans are NOT licensed
for mass production.

If you are a small business crafter or woodworker who sells your
creations at craft fairs or similar venues, you may produce our
projects to sell if you have received them as free projects as a
subscriber to e-fg-zine, or if you
have purchased the pattern or plan from Faux Grain.
If, however, your business could in any way be considered a
*factory*
that produces items on a mass basis, free projects and paid patterns or
plans are not licensed for such use. Faux Grain patterns and plans
are not licenced for *mass production.* If you are unsure, please
contact Faux Grain.
If you are a teacher, you may use the patterns or plans for teaching
purposes in a single class. By contrast, you may not distribute
the patterns or plans to an entire school or school board.
The common sense rule of thumb is the word *mass.* If
the word *mass* could be applied to what you would like to do
